We collect what you tell us and almost nothing else. Here is the whole of it.
Who we are
Steadfast builds websites, Google presence, and automation for churches and a small number of businesses. We are based in Birmingham, Alabama. This policy covers Steadfast, for churches and the site at madebysteadfast.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form:
- Your name
- Your church or business
- Your role there
- Your email address
- Your phone number, which is optional
- Which tier you are starting from
- Whatever you write in the message box
- Whether you ticked the box asking for a confirmation text
Why we collect it
To reply to you. That is the entire purpose. Your message goes to a single inbox that Miles reads, and you get an automatic reply confirming it arrived.
We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not send newsletters. If you never write to us again, you will never hear from us again.
Mobile numbers and text messages
Giving us a phone number is optional, and we only text you if you tick the box asking us to. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency: one confirmation message when you submit the form. After that, any texts are one-to-one replies from Miles about your project, so frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
We do not sell your mobile number. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used to reach you and nothing else.
Who else touches it
A few companies handle the mechanics of getting a message from you to us. They process your information on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes:
- Vercel, which hosts the site
- Resend, which delivers the two emails
- Twilio, which delivers the confirmation text if you asked for one
- Cal.com, if you choose to book a call, which collects its own details under its own policy
Analytics and cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no tracking pixel and no advertising network.
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which count page views and measure loading speed without cookies and without building a profile of you.
Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so simply reading a page sends your details to nobody.
How long we keep it
Your message lives in an email inbox, so it stays until it is deleted, the same as any email you send anyone. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Your choices
Write to Miles and ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. There is no form and no process. It is one person reading one inbox.
Children
This site is meant for adults working on behalf of a church or a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
